CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars - Class of 2025 Awards Ceremony and Scholarship Recipients
Class of 2025 CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Recipients (L-R) Chapter President Jordan Herges with Recipients Tanner Heald, Liz Burggraff, Chloe Sanborn, Carson Stucky, Hailey Smith, Braylynn Cramsie, Kaylee Doffing, Isaiah Voss, Olivia Nelson, Talon Baker, Allysen Belsheim, Ava Halvorson, Tatum McIlroy, Bethany Besser. We are pleased to announce that this year a total of $101,033 was awarded these 14 Ogilvie High School Class of 2025 Dollars for Scholars applicants. Included in his amount was an anonymous donation of $25,000 that was divided dynamically amongst all applicants and dubbed the Class of 2025 Scholarship.
Hilda Blowers Scholarship - Pam Ford representing for the family along with recipients Ava Halvorson & Isaiah Voss. Scholarships are 4-Year $2000 Renewables awarded to Ogilvie's top athletic applicants in honor of Hilda Blowers and her multi-generational family members, many who are Ogilvie Alumni and lovers of high school athletics. These generous scholarship funds were donated by Al Blowers, son of Hilda Blowers.
Isaiah is also the recipient of the CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars 4-Year $1500 Renewable Scholarship.
Jean Tolzman Memorial Scholarship - Allysen Belsheim and Olivia Nelson, with Gene Tolzman. These scholarships are $500 and provided by Gene Tolzman in memory of his wife Jean who was a valued educator at Ogilvie. These were awarded this year to future educators.
Duane Pearson Scholarship - Ava Halvorson with Jordan Herges. This is a 4-Year Renewable Scholarship for $750/year and has been provided annually by Theresa Pearson and family.
Lincoln Trust - Kaylee Doffing, Allysen Belsheim, Ava Halvorson, & Tatum McIlroy. These are 4-Year Renewable Scholarships for $1000/year.
Haubenschild Memorial Agribusiness Scholarship - Allysen Belsheim and Olivia Nelson. These scholarships were given by the Janice Gerke and Gordon Haubenschild Charity Fund, in honor of Donald & Myrtle (Schlemmer) Haubenschild and their legacy in Agribusiness. These are $500 scholarships.
John Bartelma Scholarship - Ava Halvorson and Talon Baker. These $500 scholarships are given in memory of John Bartelma by his family and awarded to students who are entering a Math/Science field and/or participated in Band/Choir at OHS.
Ogilvie Business Department Scholarship - Bethany Besser, with OHS Teachers Seth Gams & Mike Bitz. This scholarship was a donation on behalf of the Ogilvie Business Department and is for $2,233 awarded to a student pursuing a business-related degree.
Eldore Miller Scholarship - Carson Stucky with Hazel Miller. This scholarship is for $500 and awarded to a student pursing a trade or technical school degree, in memory of Eldore Miller a community member and who valued education and hard work.
Russel Bergren/Neighborhood National Bank Scholarship - Chloe Sanborn & Liz Burggraff. These are $1000 scholarships given in memory of Russel Bergren by Phyllis Bergren and family with matching funds by Neighborhood National Bank.
North Country Heating & Air Scholarship - Tanner Heald with Todd McIlroy. This scholarship is for $500 and was awarded to a student pursuing a career in HVAC.
Ogilvie Fire Department - Tanner Heald and Braylynn Cramsie with Kevin Drost. These scholarships are $500 each.
Ogilvie Area Scholarship - Talon Baker and Hailey Smith. These are 4-Year $500 Renewable Scholarships.
P.R.I.D.E. (Positive Recognition in District 333 Education) 4-Year $1000 Renewable Scholarship. - Tanner Heald with Jordan Herges.
Mystic Riders Snowmobile Club Scholarship - Allysen Belsheim with Chapter President Jordan Herges. This is a $1000 scholarship donated by the MRSC for a deserving scholar.
Nels A Lee Scholarship - Chloe Sanborn with Jordan Herges. This is $300 scholarship provided by the Lee family in memory of Nels.
Ogilvie Staff Memorial - Olivia Nelson. This scholarship is a long-standing award in memory of Ogilvie Public School teachers and staff. This $500 scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a degree in education.
Platinum Paw Awards- Liz Burggraff, Carson Stucky and Braylynn Cramsie.
