CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Recipients

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Citizen's Scholarship Foundation of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars would like to congratulate the Ogilvie Senior Class of 2021 Scholarship Recipients.  As part of Scholarship America's national network of locally based, volunteer-drive, the Dollars for Scholars' mission is to mobilize our community on behalf of postsecondary education success for our students. We held our Award Ceremony on Sunday May 23^rd.

This year we are pleased to announce that a total of $38,800 was awarded to (11) eleven 2021 Ogilvie High School Graduates.  Recipient for the Class of 2021 are: Emily Brown, Beau Burk, Emily Gay, Brady Harlan, Mitch Klar, Katie Kunst, Gavin McLevis, Hazel Meyman, Alora Pratt, Alivia Sanborn, and Terrance 'Tutter' Wallace.

Also, through generous donations, for our fourth year, CSF-Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars was able to award Alumni Scholarships. This year's recipients for the Alumni Undergraduate Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each are Brooklyn Yotter (Class of 2017); Sam DeVito, Baylee McLevis, and Emma Vogel (Class of 2019); Annika Berg, Madisen Chidester, Olivia Hudoba, Cori Olson and Kelsi Olson (Class of 2020).  This year's recipient of the Alumni Advanced Degree $2500 - 2 year Renewable Scholarship is Dallas Petroff (Class of 2014). Thank you to all those that have continued to donate and support the Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars chapter and graduating seniors.   - submitted by the CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars Executive Board: Jay Berg, Stacy Olson, Deb Brasch, Jen Drost, and Laurie Arnold.

 

Lincoln Trust $1000 4 Year Renewable Scholarships: Emily Gay, Alivia Sanborn, Hazel Meyman, and Katie Kunst.

**Hazel was also the recipient of the Leaders and Achiever's $1000 Scholarship.

**Alivia was also the recipient of the Ogilvie Community Service $1000 Scholarship.

 

Duane Pearson Memorial Scholarship $750 4 year Renewable : Theresa Pearson with recipient Hazel Meyman

 

Eldore Miller Memorial Scholarship - $500. Hazel Miller with recipient Katie Kunst

 

Jean Tolzman Memorial Scholarship - $500 ea. Gene Tolzman with recipients Alora Pratt and Emily Gay.

**Alora was also the recipient of the Legacy In Our Neighborhood (L.I.O.N.) $1000 Scholarship.

 

Russel Bergren Memorial / Neighborhood National Bank $1000 Scholarships: Recipients Mitch Klar and Emily Brown (not pictured).  Thank you to Donors Phylis Bergren and Neighborhood National Bank!

**Mitch and Emily were also the recipients of the CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars Platinum PAW Scholarship - $250 ea.

 

Nels A Lee $300 Scholarship - Recipient: Brady Harlan

 

Ogilvie Fire Department - $500 ea.  Kevin Drost with recipients Gavin McLevis and Brady Harlan

 

CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars $1500 4-year Renewable Scholarship - recipient Tutter Wallace and Chapter President Jay Berg. 

**Tutter was also the recipient of the $1000 Platinum PAW Scholarship.

 

CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars Positive Recognition in District 333 Education (P.R.I.D.E.) Award - $1000 4-year Renewable Scholarship - recipient Beau Burk with President Jay Berg. 

**Beau was also the recipient of the Ogilvie Community Service $1000 Scholarship.
